Sunday morning the kids got up and found their Easter baskets that that clever Easter Bunny hid. Kendal's was in the pantry in the little cooler we have in there, and Mason's was next to the tv. Good fun, and a couple Peeps first thing in the morning never hurt anybody, right? Kendal also got a new bike, as we noticed that her knees practically hit her chin when she rides her old one. Lucky girl. Lucky they were on sale at Target, that is.
Then Kendal and I headed out to church. I'm pretty sure she was the cutest one in her little dress and headband. There was no Sunday School, so she sat with me in regular church, and she actually did quite well. She colored for most of the time and then just sat on my lap.
After that the whole family headed over to John's sister Kris's house for some brunch. Very tasty! The kids had an Easter egg hunt, and opened their baskets from Grandma and Grandpa. We brought over Kendal's bike, so we spent the rest of the time outide.
Instead of candy, Mason got his favorite...yogurt melts.
Kendal is cracking open her eggs.
Then, after we got home, the stars aligned, and both kids took naps, the Masters was on, and even Mom got to take a little nap.
Oh, and that night Mason took his first "big boy" bath without his little bath seat.
