A Special Day

Friday March 11th was a special day for Kendal and I. It was her first official day of Spring Break, and normally I work on Fridays, but I happened to have this one off. So, we took Mason to daycare as usual, and we had a cool mommy/daughter day. Our special treat was having lunch at the American Girl Bistro. The price of this place is not for the faint of heart, but we each had an appetizer, entree, and split a dessert, of course. Kendal's doll, Julie, had her own special place at the table, and even got her own tiny chocolate milk and ice cream sundae. It was cuter than words can say, and definitely worth it. Kendal had a smile on her face the whole time.
